Our Services - C-ARM

• The latest addition to AIH OT is the C Arm / Image Intensifier. This service is being installed.
• C-Arm allows low intensity x-rays to be converted to a visible light output. It allows the viewer to more easily see the structure of the object being imaged than past fluorescent screens.

• With the C Arm we will now be able to carry out vast range of investigations, including:
• Barium studies.
• Endoscopy studies ERCP.
• Fertility studies HSG.
• Various therapeutic studies.
• Cardiac studies.
• Wide range of Orthopedic procedures.
