Al Ihsan Hospital Rawalpindi is providing a comprehensive range of consultation, diagnostic and clinical services for almost all medical and surgical specialties through its hospital based medical departments since December 2000.

Al Ihsan Hospital is therefore committed to meet highest Standards of healthcare and clinical Excellence. We operate to these standards, every day, in everything we do. Most of our physicians who are credentialed at our hospital are CPSP Certified or of equivalent Western training programs.
 We have ensured that we have the expertise to fulfill your medical requirements in comfortable and reassuring surroundings.
We are proud to offer hospital services to individuals and organizations directly as well as through insurance companies at very competitive rates and ultimately we have business relationship with most of the larger and reputable organizations and insurance companies all over the country, through panel’s arrangements.
Al Ihsan Hospital is a hospital with a concept built on providing the best of health to every citizen. Started in 2000, it is an effort to take the healthcare to the next level. The comfortable atmosphere that it offers causes a person to feel the peace. Its vibes and decor rival the best anywhere and its infrastructure including diagnostics (laboratory & imaging) is second to none.
Based on three operation theaters that are equipped with the latest technology, its surgical field is able to cater for most types of surgical treatments. Its ER/Emergency gives an impression of a friendly and welcoming place for patients and relatives both.
The staff in all out-patient and in-patient departments is friendly, competent and caring. The hospital has a special Patient Coordination Department that coordinates with doctors, nurses, and interpreters who serve the patients. It ensures the comfortable and smooth provision of services to each and every patient entering its doors. Located at the junction of Rawalpindi cantonment and City, it is most conveniently located on main and centuries old and historic Muree Road of Rawalpindi City.
The building radiates its uniqueness in design; its colors and ambiance spell the word ‘Healing’ so apt for a hospital. In-house comfort and relaxation is beyond star rating. A team of most competent consultants along with their crew are always ready to relieve your pain in no time. Founder

Late Col ( R ) Ihsan Ullah

Al Ihsan hospital was established in year 2000. The founder of the Hospital late Col ( R ) Ihsan Ullah was a great philanthropist. His philosophy in life was to serve humanity and always lend a helping hand to those in need.
He belonged to Corps of Engineers (13th PMA). He served in Pakistan Army as a truly patriot and brave officer. He was one of the initial volunteers for the India-Pakistan wars of 1965 and 1971. He always preferred leading from the frontlines, thus having various encounters with the enemy. To this day he is remembered as the savior of Narowal and Shakargarh. As a result of his bravery in wars his name was recommended thrice by the Pakistan Army for the highest award for survivors in a war known as Sitara Jurat (Star of courage). He played a vital role in reconnaissance, planning and construction of the famous Silk Road also known as Karakuram Highway (KKH). At KKH he was responsible for the reconnaissance of the most difficult and dangerous part of the highway still remembered by the locals as the “Deadly black rock”. Another famous highway known as S1 (Jablot to Skardu highway) was also constructed under his expert supervision.    
In the mid 70s he served as the personal advisor to Sheikh Zayad Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He was also the Chief Engineer of Abu Dhabi Defense forces. It was in Abu Dhabi that he gained the experience of designing and commissioning various hospitals of international standards. He performed his duties with honesty, integrity and always worked passionately for the honor and respect of his country.
His aim for building this hospital was to provide the highest standard of care with the aid of the very latest technology under one roof at the most competitive and reasonable price. He has left a legacy of honesty and integrity that each member of hospital continues to follow. He always wanted AIH to be a hospital where not only the rich could avail the luxuries of private healthcare but also the poor and under privileged could also benefit from the same service at very minimal or no cost at all. He always said:
“Each one of us must not loose our utility for humanity.”

My name is Muhammad Hasnain Khan, and I am the CEO of Al Ihsan Hospital
It is my privilege to serve you by building on the successes of my esteemed predecessors and working with our health services team to ensure that we continue to deliver the highest quality of care, with an ever improving standard of patient centricity and patient experience.​
Being one of the pioneers of Al Ihsan Hospital, I have a longstanding relationship with this hospital, spanning almost 25 years. I am a hospital administrator by profession and have served in multiple roles at Al Ihsan Hospital. It is my endeavor to ensure that our organization remains synonymous with access to quality healthcare throughout Pakistan and the region, in line with our guiding principles of Quality, Access, Relevance and Impact.
We are committed to offering quality healthcare which is accessible to all, regardless of our patients’ ability to pay. Our Patient Welfare and Zakat Programs have served millions of patients over the years, and in 2024 alone more than 10000 patients received medical support  funded by the hospital’s own funds.
